Real estate figures for May saw 309 residential sales – up from April’s 240, but average days to sell increased from 35 to 37 days. The median sales price stayed steady at $534,500 – up 11.4% on April 2016.
For sale properties hover around the late 700’s beginning June, but some vendors prefer the warmer months to enter the market and a decline in available properties is expected. Buyer interest across the board – price bands and locations – might add pressure to prices.
It is a good time to speak to Linda should you consider a real estate move. Why wait for competition if you can make your property stand out in the traditionally slower months? Buyers are not deterred by seasons – their needs take preference and now is the time to address it!
